Crowned blue, green and warm-toned figures appear with monkey-like companions. A panel on the left includes a flame-like city scene. Lower and right panels show groups moving through a landscape or across a stone-like path. Floral and geometric borders enclose the composition.

The composition.
The repeated heroic figures, monkey-like companions and apparent burning city support a Ramayana-associated reading. The prior catalogue titled it Hanuman's Journey to Lanka. That is a plausible part of the subject, but the many scenes may cover a broader narrative. The photograph does not establish a complete sequence or identify every central group. The revised title retains the broad epic association without claiming the whole work depicts one journey.
These readings describe visible features and possible subjects. A maker-confirmed title, provenance, materials and the identities of unresolved figures are not yet documented.
