Understand the tradition.
We begin with craft research: its place, materials, techniques and cultural setting. We link our sources so you can explore further.
Our approach
Before a collection comes a conversation: about the work, the person who makes it, and how it should be shared.
We begin with craft research: its place, materials, techniques and cultural setting. We link our sources so you can explore further.
We invite artisans and workshops to introduce their practice in their own words. A website or polished catalogue is not needed to start.
Before presenting a maker or an item, our intended process is to confirm names, origin, materials, photographs and permission to share the story.
Any future collaboration needs a shared understanding of the work, pricing, capacity and responsibilities. An introduction is the start of that discussion.
GolGadi is introducing its first craft focus and inviting artisan conversations. The works pictured are references; products are not currently available for purchase.
We will add individual maker stories and collection details as they are confirmed. We do not promise sales, income or acceptance through the introductory form.
An invitation to makers
We are beginning with artisans of Odisha and Karnataka. Tell us about your craft, your process and the work you want to share.
