The composition.
The elephant head, trunk and central dance posture securely support a dancing Ganesha description. Four small panels along the top, four down each side and four along the base give sixteen surrounding compartments. This count describes the visible layout; it does not certify a canonical sixteen-name iconographic sequence. The exact names of each small form and its held objects require a higher-resolution photograph or the maker’s identification key. Ganesha’s association with auspicious beginnings provides cultural context. The red field is part of the painting, not a marketing background replacement.
These readings describe visible features and possible subjects. A maker-confirmed title, provenance, materials and the identities of unresolved figures are not yet documented.
