A monumental dark round-eyed Jagannath face emerges from dense pale ceremonial ornament. Red accents, smaller medallions and tiny side figures enrich the dark green shrine-like composition.

The composition.
Jagannath is strongly identified by the characteristic circular eyes and dark stylised face. The highly ornamented appearance may correspond to a particular besha, but a precise ceremonial name is not confirmed from this photograph. The pale ornament should not be advertised as real silver, ivory or pearl; those are unverified material claims. Small medallions appear within the ornament, but the identities of every miniature deity are unresolved. The dark green ground and restrained red details are visual features of this artwork. This is a separate product from the colourful ceremonial Jagannath scene, with a different design and surrounding narrative.
These readings describe visible features and possible subjects. A maker-confirmed title, provenance, materials and the identities of unresolved figures are not yet documented.
